Cecile Lillian Bisaillon, 65, of Kannapolis, passed away at home on Saturday August 26, 2017. A recent transplant to North Carolina, Cecile was born on August 1, 1952 in New Bedford, MA to the late Henry and Violette Bessette.
She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed knitting, and crocheting. Her other passions were reading, playing bingo as well as hidden picture games on the computer and collecting anything that contained lions. Cecile’s love for close friends, the warmth of her smile, and her witty conversation will be sorely missed.
Cecile is survived by her loving companion of 23 years, Joseph Geer of Kannapolis, NC; a son, Scott Bisaillon of New Bedford, MA; a daughter, Christy Bisaillon of Fall River, MA, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Delores Bessette Rijo Rogers of Stoughton, MA and Gloria Lemieux of Acushnet, MA, as well as her brother Ronald Bessette of Acushnet, MA.
A celebration of her life will be held at a date to be determined in the future.
There will not be a formal service, but if you should wish to honor her, donations can be made in memory of Cecile to her favorite charity, The Jimmy Fund at http://www.jimmyfund.org/.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury and Charlotte is serving Joseph Geer and the Bisaillon family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.
Joseph Geer says
Farewell, my love. You made me a far better person than I could have ever been without you in my life.
It is because of you that I truly learned what love is, and opened my eyes to what life has to offer. You gave me life, and a reason to carry on.
“Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow.”
Farewell, my beloved… I carry the love you shared with me now, and forever.

I keep wishing this was only a bad dream. You will always be loved and missed dearly. I will try to be the man and father that you knew I could be. I will miss your words of wisdom. They truly helped more than you could know. Although I could not see or speak to you as much as I should have. I am glad you found happiness.
Chris Herbert says
We are very sorry for you loss. She meant the world to Jo Jo – and it always seemed that they could lean on each other when times were rough. Truly, they seemed to complete each other.
Lynn Holiman says
It’s been so hard this last month without you. You were my friend, my “Ma”. You made me laugh, hooked me on crime drama and I in turn hooked you on Bruins hockey and Outlander. I will miss you, Cece, until we meet again.
