Charles Wayne Beaver Sr., 74, of Kannapolis, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Five Oaks Manor Nursing Home in Kannapolis. He was born on January 31, 1943 in China Grove to the late Fred Beaver and Margaret Canup Beaver.
Charles was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a Truck Driver for most of his life driving all over the United States of America. He enjoyed going camping in the mountains and at the beach. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Beaver.
Charles is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon Elaine Beaver; two daughters, Bonnie “Yvette” (Freddie) Misenheimer of Salisbury, and Annette (David) Rowland of China Grove; a son, Charles Wayne Beaver, Jr. of Kannapolis, NC; seven brothers, Larry (Elaine) Beaver, Jack (Linda) Beaver, Tony (Shirley) Beaver, Steve (Becky) Beaver, Doug (Cathy) Beaver, Donnie (Mary) Beaver, Ronnie Beaver; a sister, Sandra Allen; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Lakewood Baptist Church (806 Kluttz St., Kannapolis, NC 28081). The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Sharon you have got to enjoy a lifetime with the love of your life 54 years is unheard of in this day and time. But God has blessed you with some fine children and grands and that didn’t come by with out God’s help either.We all will miss him greatly but I know that you will be the one to hurt and cry and miss him the most because you was always right by his side all his days of hurting, sickness, hospital stays, happy times, crying times, and the times no one else would stay around you still stuck like glue to him, THAT IS WHAT LOVE AND MARRIAGE IS ALL ABOUT and you are blessed and will be blessed in the days to come also. We love you all and we are there if you need us any time sister.
