Charlsie Logene Miller, 84, of Salisbury, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at her home. She was born October 17, 1933 in Ashe County, NC to the late Charlie Baker and Orpha Testerman Baker.
Logene loved to play Bingo and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandbabies.
In addition to her parents and 5 siblings, Logene was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Miller whom she married on November 28, 1949; daughters, Karen Miller; Glenda Lugo; grandson, Alan Bradford, and great-granddaughter, Gabriella Delgado.
Logene is survived by sons, Danny Miller of Salisbury; Johnny Miller (Jessica) of Salisbury; daughters, Carol Lloyd (Theron) of Denton; Sharon McDonald (Charles) of Raleigh; Marsha Locklear of Salisbury; Lorie Miller of Salisbury, NC; along with 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandy Greer (Wayne) of Fleetwood.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday September 1, 2018 at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church (830 Choate Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146) conducted by Pastor, Darrell Worley. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:30 PM.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Sean Malone and staff, Dr. Brinkley and staff, and the Novant Health Hospice Staff.
