Cynthia Jeanette Beasley Norman, 63, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at the Hinkle Hospice House surrounded by family. Cynthia was born on October 15, 1953 in Guilford County, NC to the late Moyer Beasley and Iola Culler Beasley.
Cynthia received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse in the healthcare field. She enjoyed crocheting while listening to the Gaither vocal Band and The Goodmens. She loved watching her grandkids play, she had enjoyed that for many years. In her spare time, she would window shop and often purchase beautiful porcelain dolls that reminded her of her daughters.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Joe Norman; a brother, Carl Beasley; and a sister, Ella Mae Hoosier.
Cynthia is survived by her sons, Andy Elliott of Lexington, Kevin Elliott and girlfriend Angie Shoaf of Tyro; daughters, Valerie Holshouser of Lexington, Melissa Surrat and husband CJ of Linwood, and Amanda Smith and husband Jeremy of Tyro; three brothers, Larry Beasley, Ronnie Beasley, and Tim Beasley; a sister, Barbara Lambeth; twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Community Church (2415 Hoover Hill Rd., Trinity, NC 27370).
