Danny Ray Nivens, 59, of Lincolnton, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Atrium Health in Lincolnton.
He was born April 27, 1960 in Charlotte, NC to the late James and Geraldine Nivens Surviving siblings are James Nivens Jr., John Nivens and Martha Nivens Cooper.
Danny enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an animal lover. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melody Love Nivens and son, Jesse Ray Nivens.
He is preceded in death by his parents and triplet babies, Grace, Edith and Danny Nivens.
A service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Trade Street, Charlotte NC at the church columbarium.

Melody and Jesse my dad, brother, and I are sorry for your loss. It hurt my family to find out my uncle Danny passed away last week. We didn’t find out until yesterday. My dad James, my aunt martha, and my uncle john would like to know what happened to him. He always made me smile especially when he kept calling me CARLA and was confused when I would respond by calling him David, or Doug, or any other name that started with a D!
