Danny Wayne Owens, 74, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at W. G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
He was born January 26, 1951 in Iredell County, NC to Jack and Mary Ruth Karriker Owens.
Danny served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was employed by the Corriher Brothers Dairy Farm for many years and after retiring he enjoyed hunting with his dog, Pepper, by his side.
Danny is survived by his wife Teresa Owens; daughter Heather Knight (Jason); sons Cory Owens (Wendy) and Daniel Owens; step-daughters Amy, Kimberly and Tiffany; Six Grandchildren; Four Step-Grandchildren; One Great-Grandchild and sister Doris Goodnight.
A celebration of Danny’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:00 am, Pastor Ralph Hager officiating. The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service.
