David Thomas Wilson, 37, of Lexington, passed away on January 14, 2020 at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Wilson was born on May 14, 1982 in Davidson County to Sheila Leonard Wilson.
David graduated from Lexington Senior High School’s class of 2000. He attended DCCC and became a licensed cosmetologist, however the majority of his employment career was spent in the retail business.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Frances Leonard; a grandmother, Irene Wilson Vaughn-Lloyd; and his uncle, Jack C. Little.
Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, a brother, Chris Wilson (Debra) of Lexington; a nephew, Patrick Wilson of Lexington; a aunt, Debbie Little of High Point; a uncle, Gene Leonard (Tess) of Lexington; several cousins, Jennifer Ball, Kimberly Wilkerson, and Kelly Crotts; and his special dog and companion whom he loved, Chloe.
He loved Cocker Spaniels and he would dog sit on weekends for a dog named, Rosie.
The family will receive friends at the home of Sheila Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County (200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292).
