Delora Louise West Crowell, 76, of Salisbury, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

Delora was born on August 22, 1947 in Salisbury to the late John and Louise West. She was a 1965 graduate of Boyden High School. Delora worked for Belk’s, RW Normans, Roses and most recently she was the Housekeeping Supervisor at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks. She loved reading and doing word puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Delora is preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Crowell Logan; and brother, John F. West.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of over 57 years, Ernest Henry Crowell, Jr.; son, Christopher Crowell; granddaughters, Cindi Allen and husband Jonathan, and Autum Crowell; great grandchildren, Tristan and Daisy Mae; sister, Judy Devories and husband Jim; and several nieces and nephews.

Delora will be greatly missed by her family, especially her husband and their cats.
