In Loving Memory of Delores Ballard Hall
Delores Ballard Hall, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home on July 27, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, lasting friendships, and a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.
For many years, Delores devoted herself to the career she truly loved as a barber. For more than 40 years, she proudly owned and operated Hair Center, where she welcomed generations of loyal customers who became much more than clients, they became friends. She had a gift for making everyone who sat in her chair feel comfortable, cared for, and valued.
Outside of work, Delores embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved spending time with her beloved “Flip Flop Girls,” sharing laughter, adventures, and unforgettable memories. Whether it was a beach trip or a simple afternoon together, those friendships meant the world to her.
Dancing was one of her greatest passions. Alongside her late husband, Rudolph, she taught ballroom dancing, sharing not only the steps but also the joy that comes from moving through life with a partner. Their love of dance touched many lives and created countless happy memories.
She treasured time at her beach home with family and friends, where the sound of the waves and the company of loved ones brought her peace. At home, her sunporch was her ‘Happy Place’, a favorite spot to relax, visit, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Delores also loved to travel, always looking forward to her next adventure. She appreciated life’s little luxuries and never minded being waited on, enjoying good food, great service, and the chance to simply relax and savor the moment.
Above all, Delores will be remembered for her infectious smile and lively spirit. She lived life to the fullest, treasured her family and friends, and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rudolph, and will be deeply missed by her daughter, granddaughter, niece, nephews, dear friends, and the many customers whose lives she brightened over the years.
A drop-in celebration of her life will be held at her home on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Barbecue and all the fixings will be served as family and friends gather to celebrate a life so well lived.
In honor of her vibrant spirit, everyone is encouraged to remember Delores with laughter, shared stories, and perhaps even a dance!
Though she is no longer with us, her love, joy, and beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
Carolina Cremation is honored to serve the Hall family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.

My dear friend Delores will always be with me because we shared so many wonderful memories. Sad that she’s not physically here but happy that she is cured and free of pain. What a happy reunion it must have been when she arrived. Love you my dear friend.💔🌷
