Denise Lea Tinkey Alsobrooks, 56, of Norwood, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home.

She was born January 31, 1965 in Indiana to the late Dennis M. Tinkey and Norma Tribbey Tinkey. Denise worked at A&T Tire Service and in her spare time enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Ameling.

Denise is survived by her brothers and sisters, Mike (Kathy) Ameling of New Mexico; Sharon (Dennis) Ingles of Indiana; Cathy (Paul) Davis of Arizona; Bruce Tinkey of Indiana; Tracy Tinkey of Indiana; and Jeff (Kandi) Tinkey of Indiana; her children, Dennis (Sierra) Tinkey; Jessica (Dewayne) Gould; Jennifer Armstrong; and Kristopher Jacobson, all of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Aaliyah, Madison, Ben, Hunter, Larkyn, and Gage; and devoted friend, Joel Lucas of North Carolina.

As per her wishes, there will be no service or memorial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice of Troy, North Carolina.

    My condolences to the family she truly was a gift from God and a wonderful friend to all she knew,her food was litterly better than most restaurants,and her bake goods omg.. she always lended a ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on .fly high beautiful ❤️
