Donald Wayne Kepley, 72, of Becks Church Rd in Lexington, died peacefully at his home after months of declining health on September 28, 2019. Donnie was born on May 29, 1947 in Davidson County to the late Jesse Kepley and Addie Mae Swing Kepley.
Donnie was known for his fun loving personality, his warm smiles, and his laughter. He enjoyed carpentry, operated service stations, and later retired from Kepley Frank Hardwood Company. He was always there to help others.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ted Kepley, James Kepley, Robert Kepley “Elmo”; a twin brother, Ronald Kepley; and his sisters, Evelyn Leonard, Virginia Black, Jean Kepley, and Loretta Kelly.
Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Kepley, and special nieces and nephews.
A Special Thanks to his dear friends for being there for him.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Beck’s Reformed Church (2845 Becks Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27292). Josh Kepley will lead the service with Pastor Ben Greene assisting.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beck’s Reformed Church.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury and Charlotte is assisting the Kepley family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.
