Donna Peeler of Rockwell, NC, died April 25, 2018, at the age of 70.
Donna was preceeded in death by her father, Grover Frank Peeler and her mother, Jo Anna Kluttz Eagle.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her loving son, Austin Doby (Jenny); granddaughter, Victoria Doby; best friends, MaryAnn Peeler, Belinda Byrd, and Eddie Wilson; and many loving and thoughtful aunts, uncles and cousins.
Donna and her mother, Jo Eagle, loved to throw lavish Christmas parties together, bake cookies and host their annual hoedown. Donna was a flamingo lover, enjoyed fishing at the beach, and was a devout republican. She was a 1965 graduate of East Rowan High School and worked most of her career as a retail manager and in photography. Donna Peeler served in numerous roles in the Rowan County Republican Party, was a Lincoln Bay Banquet organizer and the Regional Vice President of the State Republican Women. She was also a member of Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith.
A service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 4:00PM, followed by hotdogs in fellowship hall at Shiloh Reformed Church, 100 South Main St. Faith, NC. Wear a touch of pink to honor Donna’s love for flamingos.
In lieu of flowers, please give to a charity or church of your choice.
