Judy Lambert says
I was so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. He was a quiet, gentle man and was at church services at nearly every service. He was never the type to draw attention to himself, but was meek and humble, yet friendly.
Doug lived about half a mile from me, so I passed near his apartment nearly every day until a couple of years ago. Sometimes, I would pass him riding his bike up the road, on my way to the main road.
He was a good song leader, and didn’t hesitate to join in to make a point or ask a question during Wednesday night services. We will all miss him at the Kannapolis Church of Christ.
