Eddie you will be sorely missed, but you will live on through the peoples lives you’ve touched. Smart mouthed and big hearted are some traits you certainly passed on to the next generation.

Eddie and I go back to first grade at Sacred Heart School. I remember Eddie as being very smart and full of himself. I have many wonderful memories of those days and all my classmates. We were a small group. 10 of us graduating 8th grade. Most of us went on to Boyden High School. Eddie was the only one to go to East. Till we meet again. Margie Kirk Sides

I too am 1 of the 10 graduates from Sacred Heart. Eddie and I were 2 of the 9 boys in the class. (poor Margie was the only girl). As she said he was full of himself, one day I was at Eddie’s house, they had a beautiful Palomino-looking horse. Eddie asked me if I wanted to ride it with him. “SURE” I said. He told me to get on and slide up and grab his mane. I did and waited for him to get on. Instead he grabbed a board and smacked him on the butt and he took off with me hanging on for dear life. The fence at the other end was coming up fast. I remembered seeing Roy Rogers pulling on a horses mane and hollering WHOA! I tried it and it worked! I jumped down and started calling him all kinds of names. He was there laughing himself silly. Eddie I miss you already. ‘Til we meet again.
