Dorma, I’m a very sad Suzanne Gibson to open my paper today and read of Sandy’s passing. We shared many good hours together as she assisted the speech therapists of Rutherford Co. I still have a touching note she wrote to me when our work time ended, my retirement. I will have you and family in my prayers. May God comfort you in an indescribable way. Suzanne

So very sorry for your family’s loss. I worked with Sandra at Rutherford Elementary many years ago. She taught p.e. and I was the art teacher. I remember she was always friendly toward me.

Dorma and MIKE, Sandra was always the bright spot where ever she was. Sandra lifted everyone’s spirits and left them better off than they were. You know that but wanted to share with every one else who may have not known Sandra. Sandra you have your wings soar through the heavens as you did on earth.

Dorma Lee, I just saw the announcement on FB. I am truly sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. I didn’t know her in high school and only met her in March of 2014. She was always so sweet to everyone and we became friends when she came to Tennessee with Marian and Rita. She was one of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever known. I’ve seen her go up to complete strangers and pay for their meal and witnessed her many acts of kindness not expecting anything in return. She really loved her family and especially those grandkids. I know she is making everyone smile in Heaven and making it a little more beautiful. Praying for you and your family as one of the brightest lights in your heart has gone out. Your loss is heaven’s gain! May God bless you.

I had the pleasure of taking care of Sandra during her hospitalization. I found out we had a mutual interest in Elvis Presley and we sat and listened to a few songs together. She was a very sweet soul.
