Monday I was in the Concord area and tried to call Eloise to see if she’d like me to visit. When a recording said that number had been disconnected, I Googled Eloise’ name and was sorry to see that she died Feb. 22 — a little more than a month since I saw her Jan. 17. Eloise was a very kind neighbor to my husband Mike & me when we lived on Avian Place. When I have appointments in Concord or Charlotte, I especially think of her and miss her. That’s a beautiful photo of her, and a lovely obituary about her sewing, cats, dogs, etc. She thought the world of you, her family.
