Frank B. Harbin, 80, of Salisbury, died January 7, 2013. Funeral arrangements are private. Mr. Harbin was originally from Charlotte, NC and was a resident of New York, NY for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Harbin, and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Harbin, Jr.

I am sorry to hear that Frank recently passed away. For over 50 years, Frank was one of my truest and most loyal friends. He had a way of looking at the bright side of life, and encouraged others to do the same. Frank and I shared a love for music and theater, and I hold many wonderful memories of our NYC days when we were young.
Frank deeply loved his nieces and their families. Although his last few years were a challenge, he tried to maintain a positive attitude. I will always hold the memory of Frank close to my heart.

I will miss my friend Frank, but i cannot wish him back to the last few years and the challenges he faced then. He was a clever, witty friend and a great source of info on his true loves: music, old movies and theatre. Our good times together from NYC to Charlotte will remain in my memory and Frank will remain in my heart.
