Garland Woodson Beacham, 76, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
He was born May 11, 1942 in Salisbury, NC to the late Whitehead Woodson “Bud” Beacham and Tevline Vaughn Beacham. Garland proudly served in the United States Army as a combat engineer. Following his service in the military, he worked as a supervisor in several local industrial plants. In his spare time enjoyed being an outdoorsman, fishing and spending time with his family.
Garland is survived by sons, Donnie Beacham (Celeste) of Salisbury, NC; Ronnie Beacham (Heather Johnstone) of Rockwell, NC; grandson, Karson Beacham of Rockwell, NC; granddaughter, Kayla Griffin of Trinity, NC; brother, Eddie Beacham of Salisbury, NC; and mother of his sons, Madelyn Beacham of Salisbury, NC.
There will be memorial service held at 9am on August 17th, 2018 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, NC, with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rowan County Honor Guard, P.O. Box 923 Salisbury, NC 28145.

Eddie, you and Donnie did wonders for your brother/and his Dad, AKA my very 1st cousin. Also, 1st one to ever be free of pain for my cousins.
