George Wilson Gazeley, 76 of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his home. George was born on November 4, 1938 in Cleveland, OH, son of the late Authur and Lula Gazeley.
George wasa Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He attended Ohio State University and was a heavy equipment operator for Apex Construction. George was of the Catholic faith.
George is survived by his wife of over 28 years, Betty Jean Gazeley, who he married on September 8, 1986. Sons, George Gazeley, Jr. and wife Lorie; and Darrell Gazeley both of Concord. Step-children, Rhonda Lester, Karen Walls and husband Glen, Rodney Walls, Larry Ball, and Lynn Hathcock and husband Ronald. Grandchildren, Jeffrey, Aaron and wife Monica, Cory, Alison, Shandi, Brandon; and great grandchildren, Kaylee, Ryker, Ashlyn and Israel. Good friends, Rocky and Pam, and Curtis and Betty. And his beloved dogs, Zoie and Hank, Jr.
There will be a graveside service at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Friday, December 26, 2014 at
