Giga Rena Blackstock Dellinger, 53 of Linwood passed away on Sunday, March 16 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Giga was born in Gaston County on August 28, 1960, daughter of the late Charles Owen and Johnnie Mae Messer Blackstock.
Giga attended West Davidson High School, and had worked for Burlington Industries. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Giga is preceded in death by a sister, Anna Belle Blackstock.
Giga is survived by her sons, Charles Daniel Blackstock and fiancee Delina Whited, and David Lee Dellinger all of Linwood. Brothers, Charles Junior Blackstock of Lincolnton; James Ray Blackstock and wife Carol, and Lonnie Lee Blackstock and fiancee Melva Adams all of Lexington. Sisters, Donna Grubb and husband David, and Tammy Archer both of Lexington. Grandchildren, Alexandra Danielle Blackstock, IzaBella Joan Blackstock and Charles Daniel Blackstock, Jr.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Lowell Cemetery in Lowell NC.
