Sandra Autry /your mama says
Glenda, mama loves you. I promised I wouldn’t let you be alone when you died, and I kept my promise. It was just you and me baby. I watched and held your hand until you were gone like I promised. We had our time together that morning before you past. I was able to hold you one last time. I’m glad I was able to spend some days with you every week the last few weeks. After everyone left that morning before you left us I was able to to talk to you and tell you how much mama loved you and how much your dad and I were going to miss you. You are in heaven with pa now. No more pain or tears. Just like me and you talked about the last day you were able to talk. You are never far away because you are always in my heart. ♥️????

Me and Glenda met at school, we instantly became good friends. We bonded over our love of God, music and art. Both of us had adventurous spirits. Many times we rode to Raleigh, going to the music store, Target or the Movies. I remember sitting at her kitchen table doing puzzles or watching her draw or write. She wrote alot of her own songs just with a pen and composition book scribbling down lines and then shoving it to me to proofread, add or change. I was shy about singing, but she would bug me to join in. That laugh, so contagious! You always had fun with Glenda. Even through the tough times, she would smile, or crack a joke. She went through alot of emotional and physical pain. I’m so sorry that I didn’t get to see you one last time before you left us. I love ya girl! I know you’re singing with the angels now. Watch over us sis, till we meet again.
