Grace Demaries Driggers Johnson, 83, of Linwood passed away February 13, 2013 at Baptist Hospital surrounded by family. Ms. Johnson was born in Florida on September 22, 1929 to the late William Driggers and Lily Raines Driggers.

Grace worked for March Motorcars for much of her career as well as a waitress. She loved crocheting, sewing, and traveling when she could. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors every chance she got. But most of all, Grace enjoyed spending time with her family first and she had a zest for life.

Ms. Johnson is survived by two sons, Paul Morgan Johnson and wife Cathy of Albuquerque, NM and Paul Allen Johnson of the Philippines, three daughters, Sheila Williams and husband Lee of Chattanooga TN, Janet Morgan of Lexington, NC, and Judy Toppings and husband John of Linwood, NC, sister, Aldyce Freyermuth of Douglas, GA, grandchildren, Bryan Williams, Staff Sargent Malissa Johnson, USAF, and David Johnson, and great grandchildren, Katie Ann Dawson, Neveah Williams, Trinity Williams, and Isaac Morland.
