Grace Rendleman Kirk, age 95, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022.
She was born April 15, 1926 in Salisbury, NC to the late David Atwell Rendleman and Grace Aaron Rendleman. After graduating from Boyden High School, she attended UNC-Greensboro, formerly Women’s College, and Salisbury Business School. She was with the kindergarten of First Presbyterian Church for nine years, then with her husband at his dry cleaning plant, Town and Country Cleaners, for 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W Kirk Jr., whom she married Nov. 2, 1944, in Charleston, SC.
Mrs. Kirk is survived by three children: Frank W. Kirk III and wife Laura of Carolina Beach, NC, Grace Kirk Dawson and husband Jerry of Hartwell, GA, Kevin David Kirk and wife Carol of Aurora, CO.; six grandchildren: Chris Kirk (Eileen), Jason Kirk, Jennifer Meehan (Matt), Matt Dawson (Lisa), Evan Kirk (Carina), Alex Kirk; seven great-grandchildren: Lucas Meehan, Mason Meehan, Dylan Meehan, Maddux Dawson, Charlotte Dawson, Cambria Kirk, Amariana Kirk. She is also survived by her brother, Rev. Henry Rendleman of Hickory.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Memorial Park in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made of the donor’s choosing.

The passing of my Aunt Grace fills me with great sadness. She was a wonderful, cheerful and very generous person and will be missed tremendously.
