Harold Ray Eddleman, 85, of Kannapolis, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
He was born January 28, 1937 in Kannapolis, NC to the late James Eddleman and Myrtle Chambers Funderburk. He graduated from Winecoff High School and then joined the military. Harold proudly served in the United States Air Force where he worked as a mechanic.
Harold owned the Western Sizzlin of Thomasville. In his spare time he enjoyed rebuilding tractors, making jellies, pickles and wine. He also enjoyed collecting coins and antiques. Harold never missed breakfast at the Town House, and his greatest joy was visiting with friends and family. Harold was a member of B.L.V.D. Chapel Church in Kannapolis.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Eddleman; son, Harold Dean Eddleman; sisters, Sandra Bowles and Gail Coker.
Harold is survived by daughter, Lisa Faggart of China Grove; stepdaughter, Nina Linker of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Kenny, Chad, Bradly (Brittany), Misty, Cheyenne, Kristen, Deanna, James, Hunter, and Kayley; great-grandchildren, Daisi, Haylea, Jason, and Noah Dean; and numerous close friends.
There will be graveside memorial service held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Center Grove Lutheran Cemetery, 618 Little Texas Rd
Kannapolis, North Carolina 28083.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center, Voluntary Service Office – Building 6 1601 Brenner Avenue Salisbury, NC 28144.

The ten years my wife and I lived in Kannapolis we had many good times with Harold and Chris. Thanks to facebook we were able to stay in touch. Sad to hear of Harolds passing, he will be missed by friends in Ohio. Ray and Shelley Robbins.
