I have very fond memories of Henry! If you liked cars and lived in NC you probably knew Henry! He always had time to talk about your car and how to make it faster or more consistent!
Scott, Jeff and the rest of the turner family. You have my deepest sympathy. So sorry for your loss!

I worked for Henry in 1969-72 when he owned M&H (Melvin&Henry) Shell out on the the interstate. We lived in the Little House right next door to the station, I was in 9th grade @ Northwest Cabarrus HS. Henry was the best boss I ever had and a best friend too. Taught me a lot about life, as well as giving me a pretty good education on auto work. Weekend nights at Mooresville Drag Strip! IHRA Meets! “THE LEMONATOR” Danny Benton and “THE GOLIATH!” (anyone know what happened to that car?) I really wish I’d seen Henry later but never did. See ya Henry, I sure missed you.
