With deepest sympathy for your loss. Deb, it will certainly take some time to get thru this. Losing a brother or sister is hard. I know you and Jimmy had a very special relationship. He said you were his rock, he could depend on for everything. That was true because you took care of him that first nine months when he was so sick and had nobody else to turn to. I don’t know how you managed having health problems of your own. My mother always said when a person is dying they will fight to stay here until that one special person whom they have been waiting on can be there. Sounds like that is what Jimmy did. He knew you would get there even thru all the obstacles you faced. Sometimes the ones that loves them the most gets pushed to the side. Deb I am sure you will be rewarded one day for being there for him. But that is what sisters do, put their lives and their spouse and children on hold, sacrifice to take care of them. He told me that his only regret was he couldn’t convince you to take him to Florida where some of his happiest days were spent. I’m sure you will be reunited with him one day, no more obstacles between the both of you, standing hand in hand together! May Jimmy’s family be blessed in the coming days and receive their just reward each and everyone.
