Dan & I have known Jim for about 45 years. He and Vicky were the first people to invite us out to eat when we started attending First Assembly of God on Newsome Road. I remember at First Assembly Jim always kept candy in his pocket to give to the kids, both young and old. He also gave Dan a job with his landscaping company. Jim really did have a passion for church. You could always count on him being both at Sunday School and worship service. He made a point to speak to everyone, never seeming to meet a stranger. Jim will be greatly missed by his River of Life family, but we will always be able to remember him sitting on about the 3rd row from the front raising his hands and praising his Lord.
