Janice Christie Cobb, 55, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on June 22nd, 2025 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Janice was born April 24th 1970 in Iredell county. Janice worked as the secretary treasurer for Variety World INC. Janice loved to travel, enjoyed fishing, and was a great dancer. She loved tending to her flowers, and had a green thumb. Most of all, Janice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Dimmette; step father, James “Bob” Christie; and mother, Lucille “Susie” Christie.
Still left to cherish her memory is husband, Darrell Cobb of 38 years; sons, Josh Cobb and Chris Cobb; daughters, Amanda Cobb and Sandi Cobb; granddaughters, Sunshine Cobb, Jordan Claytor, Nova Allison, and Ava Rehders; brother, Jerry Christie; sister, Teresa Calhoun; and step brother, Chad Christie; and step sister, Sonya Sywenki.
There will be a memorial service held on July 12th at 2pm at Woodleaf Baptist Church, 7790 Woodleaf Rd, Woodleaf, NC 27054.
Flowers can be accepted at Woodleaf Baptist Church.

Janice was always a spark to her family and her siblings. It was a blessing to know her and be in her family. I will miss her wonderful spark. May her family remember that spark and keep it in their lives. My deepest sympathy and condolences to all of her family.
