Angie and the rest of the Stoner family.
It is with great sadness and grief that I share these comments. The Stoner family remains a part of my dearest memories. Both of you girls were such sweet, kind souls and a real joy to teach. I will truly miss the calls from Janie. Our lives were so entwined as we talked about our illnesses and shared our prayers for each other. My last conservation was when she called from the hospital but said she was going back to her room at the Citadel. So, we sent her a card there wishing her well but the card was returned saying she was again in the hospital. I am grief stricken that a former student that kept in touch all of these years is now gone. Know that there is a hole in my soul where a piece of her concern for me will be missed. Please know that you all still remain in my thoughts. I know life’s struggles for Janie are over and God has prepared a place for her. Blessings!
