Jerry Eugene Sutton Jr., 41, of Rockwell, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
He was born on May 4, 1984 to the late Jerry Sutton Sr. and Linda Hagan Sutton.
Jerry was a man of many passions, and he especially loved hunting —whether it was deer, turkey, doves, or rabbits, if it could be hunted, Jerry loved it. Above all else, though, his greatest love was his family. He cherished his two sons and held close the bond he shared with his sisters. Jerry began working at just 15 years old and dedicated over 20 years of his life to sheetrock and finishing, showing his strong work ethic and determination.
After the passing of his father, Jerry felt that loss deeply and struggled to imagine life without him, leaving us to lean on one another. Now, as we face life without Jerry, we do so with heavy hearts, knowing he has joined our parents as a guardian angel watching over us. Jerry, we love you and miss you
deeply. Please tell our parents how much we love and miss them too. Until we meet again, you will forever live in our hearts.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Elijah Sutton and Ashton Sutton of Mt Pleasant; three sisters, Serenna Sutton Jordan of Salisbury, Alisha Sutton of Salisbury; and Kathy Crowell of Concord; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 10th, 2026 at Universal House of Prayer Concord, NC, from 2pm-4pm.
Carolina Cremation is assisting the Sutton family. Online condolences may be made at
