John Franklin Padgett Sr., 69, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at his home in Salisbury. He was born on August 14, 1952 in Iredell County, NC to the late John Earl Padgett and Mary Bost Padgett.

John worked as a Electrician for 48 years. He enjoyed discussions about old cars, motorcycles and guns. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by, brothers Robert Padgett and James Padgett.

John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Phyllis Snider Padgett of Salisbury; children, John Padgett Jr and wife Lisa of Salisbury, April Davis and husband Matthew of Cleveland, and 3 grandsons, Sebastian, Isaiah, and Gavin; Sisters, Jeanette Nelson and husband Jennings of Cleveland, and Barbara Harmon and husband Stan of Statesville. Along with uncle Harold Bost of Georgia, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service be held on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 1 PM at the Town of Cleveland Cemetery.
