David Duke says
Robin,
We are saddened to learn of John’s passing. We shared many good times in our youth and at Catawba. While life took us in different directions, it was always good to visit with him when our paths crossed. Blessings to you, your son Ryan and brother Jeff during this time of grief. From experience I know time will ease your pain and allow the best moments of your life together to lift your spirits each day. He will be missed!

To the family of John. It has been a long time since Randy and I (Mary Ann)
have seen John. In fact we called him Richard because there were so many John’s in our friends. Buford, who just passed last month. Lake, who passed many years ago and now John. Just know he is in a better place now. Pray for healing for the family.
Sincerely, Randy and Mary Ann Whitley
