Johnny “J.R.” Ray Daniels, 64, of Salisbury, NC passed away on September 26, 2013 at his residence surrounded by family. Mr. Daniels was born in Mooresville, NC on September 16, 1949 to the late Chonce Daniels and Katheryn Hubbard.
He was a man of many talents from being an inventor to being a developer. He took pride in everything he created. He created a cancer machine that helped to fight cancer and a flight simulator that he took from state to state to let children ride. He enjoyed helping others, especially children and creating new inventions was his passion.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Huffman Daniels, his children, Steven R. Daniels, Rhonda D. Burgess, Chanc L. Daniels, Margaret Johnson, Lisa Johnson, Ronald E. Burgess Sr., Michael D. Garrison, Marci R. Raatz and Michelle Britt, brothers, Michael Garrison and Rick Garrison, a sister, Joann Handcock, and grandchildren, Ronnie Burgess, Meagan Daniels, Caleb Daniels, Jordan Daniels, Nathan Daniels, Davy L. Raynor, Miguel Loredo, Marion Loredo, Mason Lambert, Austin Britt, Mikey, Hayley, and Matthew Burgess and Jonathan Lyda and soon to be baby boy.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
