Joseph “Joe” James Gresham, 67, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC.

He was born September 26, 1958 in to the late Duncan and Virginia Sheppard McInnis. Joe loved his fast and loud classic cars.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Louis Gresham, sister, Annie Mae Rice, son, Joseph Gresham , Jr., and grandson, Issac Long.

Joe is survived by his; partner of over 20 years, Terri Lynn Deaver of Concord, NC; brothers, Junior (Jane) East, and William (Garen) Blake; sister, Barbara (Elpedio) Marquez; sons, Roger (Tabatha) Gresham, and Brenden Conover; daughter, Jolene Herndon; grandsons, Christian Self, Roger “Anthony” Gresham, Devin Herndon, Daniel Sims, Colton Gresham, and Aiden Sims; granddaughters, Shawnna Gray, Darla Gray, Nevaeh Warren, and Cheyenne Stoots; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Zion Wesley Picnic Shelter 9001 Reid Street Mount Pleasant NC 28124.
