Joshua Dane Richardson, 54, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Carolina Medical Center- University.
He was born April 8, 1965 in Newport News, VA to John Richardson and Linda Stamey Fraley. Joshua worked as a for Shultz and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Albemarle. He attended The Gathering Church and loved to remodeling, painting, mowing yards, car racing and was a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan.
In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Honeycutt of New London, NC; son, Liam Crowell of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Abby and Hollan; brother, John Richardson Jr. (Lisa) of Albemarle; step-brother, Roger Fraley (Star) of New London; 3 nephews and a niece; uncle, Bill Stamey (Ethel) and family, of Morganton; aunts, Joann Smith and family, of Morganton; and Clara Bell Stamey of Albemarle; special cousin, Lydia Vanhoy and family; special friend, Helen Morgan and her family; and long time friend, Robin Little and family.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.

I really didn’t get to know Josh until he joined Stanly Lodge #348.
The thing I remember and will miss the most about Josh was his smile; there was never a time when I would run into him that he wouldn’t have that wonderful smile on his face.
