Karen Elizabeth Hamrick, 57, passed away on February 15th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
She was born in Salisbury, NC to the late Clinard B. Hamrick and Ruth H Hamrick. She was the youngest of 6 children. She served as Captain in the Army Reserve and earned her nursing degree at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She worked as an RN on the cardiac unit at Northeast Medical Center in Concord for many years, followed by several nursing home facilities. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church and enjoyed music, fishing, reading, and being with family. She will always be remembered for her fun-loving personality.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Brenda H. Peacock.
She is survived by her siblings, Barbara Davis, Buck Hamrick II, David Hamrick (Debra), Ronald Hamrick Sr. (Jean), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Brenda H Peacock.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.

She had a wonderful personality before she got so sick. Mom and I felt it was difficult for all the family to see her sink further away with her illness. She will be missed. We love her and will carry her in our hearts. She rest in God’s arms now and is no longer suffering.
