I have not been very good at keeping in touch with Karla over the last several years and it saddens me very much to see that she is gone. I am sure is in a better place now though and probably laughing and playing bingo. I know she will be missed by many. Karla was my first sponsor 19 1/2 years ago and I still quote her words to newcomers. She was very wise and compassionate. She loved me until I was able to love myself again. For this and so many other things about Karla I will always be grateful!!
