Katherine “Kathy” Lee Bolt Pickett, 68, of Salisbury, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at her home.

She was born August 10, 1949 in Charlotte, NC to the late Julian Marion Bolt and Ruby Dorris Bolt. Kathy retired from PPG Industries after 32 years of employment. She was of the baptist faith and in her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and visiting the mountains. Kathy also enjoyed helping raise several nieces and nephews.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Rubylee “Brandy” Sherrard (Tori) of Casselberry, FL; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Gifford (Chris) of Harmony; Alaina Melton (Jesse) of Kannapolis; DJ Blackwelder of Holt, FL; 5 great-grandchildren, Jaxon Gifford, Willow Gifford, Jasmine Melton, Toby Melton, Jesse James Melton; siblings, Yvonne Hill (Ronald); Julian Marvin Bolt (Ann); Frances Lemly (Lonnie); Donna Loman (Les); all of Salisbury.

There will be a private celebration of life held at a later date.
