Dear Sweet Kaye,
I love you so much. You have been with us (Hughey & I) through some fun times.
I’ll never forget we always had a good time on our camping trips. We’ll never forget “Miss Martha Stewart” camping beside us with all her color coordinated utensils, plates, apron and
tablecloth. And we were all trying not to crack up! Had to been her 1st camping trip! You will always be a happy thought in my mind. ♥️ you

My dear sweet best friend for 40+ years,
I will miss you so much. These last few months have been so special to me. We have been through a lot of stuff together. We worked together for a time. Then we all left that job together. Our friendship has been a good one. I watched your children Adam & Andrea grow up. Oh how I know you loved those two. Your grandchildren were so special to you too. You were their Mimi. The love of your sister Randy, your brothers Hughey(Sonny as I always knew him to be) & Alan loved you dearly and you loved them. You were a great Aunt to many nieces and nephews too. We all know that you are at peace and are no more sick. Just remember we all love you. Your friend forever, Donna Butler

I met Kaye when I went to an interview at the old Republic Services’ Call Center. It was an instantly empathy between us, we continue working for the same Call Center but on different departments, we enjoyed going out to eat during weekdays. With Rebecca I went to see Kaye one day per week to the Hospital and to the Gastonia’s facility. Two days before she died we visited her and God allow us to tell Kaye how much we love her and she answered back. Always she was talking about her son, daughter and grand kids and how much she loved them. We are missing her so much but we know she is on heaven happy, without pain and enjoying God’s company. My prayers to her family, only God can give comfort.
