
Keith Alexander McWhorter, 63, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
He was born September 30, 1961 in Concord, NC to the late Jerry Alexander McWhorter and Betty Gilbert Freeman. He graduated from South Rowan High School and attended Pfeiffer University. Keith worked as a Water Treatment Technician for Fieldcrest Cannon Mills.
He was a member of Crossroads Church in Concord. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, collecting CocaCola memorabilia and loved animals, especially his beloved Jazzy.
Keith is survived by his partner, Steve Runyon of Concord, NC; sisters, Kim Bumgardner (Phil) of Kannapolis, NC, Karen Barker of China Grove, NC; aunt Carol Stubbs (Don) of Gold Hill, NC; nieces and nephews, Adam Bumgardner; Julianna Kirby (Chase); Kelsey Brigman (Brantley); Kendyl Frye (Isaiah); and Kota Patten.
There will be Celebration of Life held at 4pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Crossroads Church, 220 George W. Liles Pkwy. Concord, NC 28027. Following the service, family and friends will gather in the Crossroads Cafe.
In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Church, Attn: Keith McWhorter Beautification Fund, 220 George W. Liles Pkwy. Concord, NC 28027.
