Sharon Johnson says
When someone we love dies, it leaves a hole in our hearts. This sorrow was felt by Jesus, Mary and Martha when Lazarus their brother died. Jesus said to Martha: “I am the resurrection and the life, the one who exercises faith in me even though he dies, will come to life. Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then he proceeded to resurrect Lazarus and he promises to resurrect all those in the memorial tombs. Please read John 5:28, 29 in your Bible and may this hope bring your family comfort.

Dear Lori and family; I am one of Keith’s ‘neighbors’ at work and he will be very much missed. I will miss his sense of humor and answering the phone “empty arms motel.” May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Rhonda Sheppard says
Lori, Betty and Ann, your companion, your son and your brother and a friend to all those that were close to Keith. I have to say I was devastated by the news that morning from a co-worker. There are not enough words to describe the shock and grief that his Duke friends felt for him. I want to express my deepest sympathy for you all as in the days to come will be very difficult. He was in our prayers and alot of hope that something could be done for him. He will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure to be a friend to him and work with him as I had known Keith since the day he came to Duke Power. He loved his cars and had a soft spot for his cats. He and I shared a few likeness, such as, running, and our animals, me and my dogs and him and his cats. He was easy to relate to and count on. We were lucky to have him in our Duke Family. May God Bless you and comfort you in the days ahead.
With Gods Blessings,
Rhonda, Jerry, Jason and A.J. Sheppard

My deepest condolences to Lori and to Keith’s family. Keith was a very special friend of mine. He will be very much missed in many ways, from his sense of humor to his love of old cars to his knowledge and interest in movies. Not to mention he was a genuine and down to earth person. He really had a soft spot and cared for people. May God provide you comfort during this difficult time.

To Keith’s family and loved ones; I am so very saddened and stunned to learn of Keith’s passing. He was one of my favorite Duke “neighbors”, and always had a smile, a funny or kind remark and an occaisional sweet treat for those around him. We shared a love of Steely Dan, cars and cats and he always truly brightened my day. He will be deeply missed. I wish you comfort in the knowledge that so many people cared for him and are thinking of and praying for you in your time of sorrow. Sincere condolences.
Ruth L. Stowe says
Bettie and Bob, know that you are continually in my prayers.
Larena says
I am so sorry to hear that Keith has fallen asleep in death. I would like the family to know that Almighty GOD gives us a hope for our dead love ones. He tells us that he will do away with death forever and those who have fallen asleep in death can be brought back to life on a beautiful and peaceful earth (1Corinthians15:26, John5:28,29, &Psalm37:29). This is a marvelous hope that GOD has set before all humankind. Please take a few minutes to read these scriptures, for they will help all to cope with and endure the death of your love one. May GOD continue to comfort all of you during this time of bereavement.
