Larry David King (Billy Clyde), 65, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday July 29, 2017 at Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center. Mr. King was born on July 7, 1952 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Clestel King and Doris Gaines King Wilbourn. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He worked as an automotive mechanic at Harrisburg Auto Sales. He loved to go deep sea fishing, hunting, and bowling with friends and family. He also enjoyed working on cars and computers and he also enjoyed watching westerns
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepdad
Larry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Diane Cress King of Salisbury; three daughters, Susan Marie Soloman and husband Christopher of Mt. Pleasant, Lisa Dawn Fink and husband Lee Fink III of Concord, and Lorita Denise Childress of Concord; a brother, Robert Ray King of Tony, AL; two sisters, Shirley Mears and husband Wayne of Huntsville, AL, and Sharon Nash of Huntsville, AL; six grandchildren, four nephews and one niece.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date
