Larry Decater Goodman, 73, of Concord, went to live with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on April 16, 1943 to the late John and Venola (Marshall) Goodman in Cabarrus County, NC.

Larry was a Christian man and retired from Rohm Haas a Supervisor over chemical manufacturing. He loved to travel with his family and friends, especially trips to Las Vegas. Larry also enjoyed bird watching and collecting clocks and coins. Larry enjoyed life and loved to spend time with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Danny Goodman; and a sister, Jeneanne Poplin.

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lundy Aileen Bost Goodman; a daughter, Amy “Sally” (Darrell) Love of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons, Matthew (Sharday) Cline of Concord, and Wesley Love of Mt. Pleasant; a great-grandson, Noah Cline of Concord; a brother, John Wayne (Lucy) Goodman of Gold Hill, several Nieces and Nephews and his four legged friend Thunder.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
