Linda Deal Beaver, 80, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

She was born on April 20, 1945 in Salisbury NC, the daughter of the late Charlie Thomas and Margie Deal. Linda graduated from East Rowan High School in 1963. She became a licensed beautician and later worked for forty five years as a Graduate Nurse at the Lutheran Home in Salisbury. Linda received the NCANPHA Nursing Service Award in 1998. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She will be remembered for her kind spirit and friendly disposition. She enjoyed cooking and sharing food with others. The residents at the Lutheran Home always looked forward to the seasonal decorations on the traditional Christmas tree throughout the year which she decorated.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Beaver; brothers, Rev. Donald Deal (Nancy) of Concord, Jimmie Deal (Jean) of Salisbury; sister, Libby McLean (Mark) of Walhalla, SC; stepsister, Shirley Hoosier of Salisbury; brother-in-law, Gene Beaver (Fay) of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her former husband, Bill Henion; sister, Peggy Hall; and stepmother, Mae Porter Deal.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM AT St. Pauls’s Lutheran Church 105 St. Paul Church Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
