Lori Elizabeth Denney Lewis, 57, of Mocksville, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her residence.

She was born April 24, 1962 in Hollywood, CA to the late Duane Denney and Jacqueline Oliver. She graduated from Irving High School in Texas and she worked as a waitress. Lori loved horses, wolves, and dogs. She had a passion for helping dogs find permanent loving homes. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, fishing, watching netflix, but most of all loved spending time with her children.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by uncle, Mike VanNostran.

Lori is survived by daughters, Sarah Curtis of Mocksville, NC and Kelsea Leigh Vaughan of Mocksville, NC; sons, Cody McClain Parker of Mocksville, NC; Jeffery Wayne Mason of Morriltion, AR, Adam Lewis (Aubrey) of WA, and Christopher Lewis of Austin, TX; 4 grandchildren; and brother, Jonathan Denney of Mocksville.

There will be a private celebration of life held at a later date.
