Lou Ellen Charles, 63 of Lexington N.C, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston – Salem.
She was born on July 26, 1954 in Grundy, Va, to the late Dewey Williamson and Annie June Williamson. She enjoyed riding horses and bowling in a league with her friends, Lou loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, She also enjoyed watching UFC fights and she loved her cat Starley. She also enjoyed playing horseshoes. Lou also thought everything was a keepsake. She was never one to ask for anything but made sure her children and grandchildren never did without. She was the most kind hearted and loving woman. She was funny and tough when she needed to be. Most people that knew her would say she was SuperWoman.
In addition to her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her son, Gary Mason Dotson.
Lou is survived by her children, Traci (Ricky) Kinder of Mouthcard, KY; Staci Dotson (Johnathan) Wright of Mouthcard, KY; Michael Dotson (Glenna) Damron of Lexington, NC; and Dewey Charles of Lexington, NC; boyfriend, Douglas Bennet and daughter, Sarah; grandchildren, Jessie Coleman, Josh Turner, Christopher Dotson, Keisha Dotson, Ricky Kinder Jr, Jessica Mitchem, Haley Dotson, Tyler Dotson, Kevin Llano, Devin Dotson, Carson Charles, Noah Phillips, Aaron Wright, Grace Wright, and Bailey; and 6 great grandchildren.
There will be memorial service held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at New Zion Freewill Baptist Church Big Rock, VA by ministers Fred Stacy and Randy Cantrell.
Lou’s internet will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Elswick Family Cemetery in Big Rock, VA.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lou Ellen Charles seem to be a loving person. God sees the tears you shed and knows the pain you feel. He promises to wipe the tears from your eyes and pain will be no more(Rev 21:3,4). God promised and he cannot lie.
