Louise Georgette Zalucki, 91, of Salisbury, NC, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born August 17, 1926, in Paris, France.
A longtime residence of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Zalucki moved to Whiteville, NC over 25 years ago to be closer to her son, before moving to Salisbury. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Whiteville. Mrs. Zalucki loved camping, fishing, and flower gardening, tending to her roses.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus “Ted” Zalucki, and son in law, Jim Mele.
Mrs. Zalucki is survived by daughter, Denise Mele of Brighton, Michigan; son, Ron Hainsey and wife, Denise of Salisbury; grandchildren, Jason Mele and wife, Melissa, of Williamston, Michigan, and Jeanette Girard and husband, Kevin, of Fenton, Michigan; great grandchildren, Will, Natalia, and Lucas Mele and Vincent and Oliver Girard; and granddogs that she spoiled like no other, Zoey and Edie.
Services for Mrs. Zalucki will be private.

After reading this obituary I am both saddened and sickened to hear of her death almost 2 years later. This obituary eliminated 3 other children, and great grandchildren children. She was loved by so many other family members, blood or not! Grandma Louise, May you be at peace ????
