Marcelino Gerena, 90, of Cornelius, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born April 26, 1934 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, Quebrada Grande sector of Guayabota, to the late Ramon Roldan and Inocensia Pagan.

In addition to his parents, Marcelino was preceded in death by his son, Guy Roldan; siblings, Paula Ortiz and Juan Gonzalez.

Marcelino is survived by his wife, Cynthia Roldan; children, Cathy Roldan, Marcelino Roldan, Cindy Roldan, and Manuel Roldan; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jesusa Gonzalez, Tina Gonzalez, and Gloria Camacho; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private Celebration of Life held at a later date.
