As a teen in CA being raised by my brother I always turned to June as a motherly figure. She was always there for me giving me encouragement , support and super great home cooked meals. I still say the best birthday cake I have ever had was a black forest cake that June made me. She taught me that it was ok to be goofy and embrace the crazy! I love you June. Rest In Peace. My condolences to June’s family.

Aunt June was a fantastic sister mom grandmom and Aunt. Her brothers loved “baby” June , her mom loved her only girl, she loved her children so very much, Lea loved her as her best friend in high school as well as her sister in law, and her neices and nephews looked forward to her fun visits. I loved our phone conversations where even towards the end she would make me laugh. June taught everyone to grab life by the tail and hang on for the fun ride. I love and will miss you so so much.
