Mechele Estella Busbin Sweatman, 58, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
She was born May 13, 1964 in Charleston, SC to the late Paul Busbin and Belvia Holder Busbin. Mechele was an avid Nascar fan, Jeff Gordon being her favorite driver. She also enjoyed watching football, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cleveland.
In addition to her parents, Mechele was preceded in death by her sister, Muriel Wilson.
Mechele is survived by daughters, Amber Sweatman of Cleveland, NC and Brianna Braswell (Brandon) of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Malik, Janiah, and baby boy Braswell on the way; sisters, Marsha Blaine (Jimmy) of Cross, SC and Irene Kaatz (Burt) of Monument, CO; brothers, Mike Busbin (Donna) and Mark Busbin, all of Cross, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at 1pm on October 6, 2022 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 200 Clearview Rd, Cleveland, NC 27013, with Pastor Mike Rakes officiating.
